Not a big fan of classical music, but Gustav Holst:The Planets is pretty amazing! anyone agree? :s

I've performed Planets a few times in concerts, once with a University Orchestra and other times with Brass Bands...which is considerably harder to play.

 

yeah it is pretty amazing. not something i would put on at a BBQ or in the car with mates tho

Yeah it's one of the greatest. Remember doing a project on that piece at school.

I've had plenty of culture thank you, I was pointing out that this is yet another stupid thread that has been started by a low poster, if I felt like starting a vaugue thread to tell everyone about my taste in music I'd put it in the music room

Just like the telly, if you don't like something, change to another channel or use your off button - this is General Discussion and that is for EVERYTHING whether or not related to cars.

Classical music isn't my cup of tea either, but I don't mind if someone else likes it enough to try to share the enjoyment of this or anything else (except maybe rap music and thrash metal!!!) Anyway, I'm moving on to the next thread.
