1.4 zetec SE

hi all ive got a standard 1.4 zetec SE lump and want to know the BHP without any mods could anyone help?

wow 74 bhp i was thinking mine was close to 80bhp and mines in a 5 door focus

Fiesta mk6's are 74bhp, mk4/mk5 fiesta's are 90bhp due to emissions etc. Focus Mk1 1.4 iirc is the 90bhp model.

Taken from wikipedia:

Ford focus 1998- 1.4 Zetec SE 75 PS (55 kW; 74 hp)@5000

Ford (escort, etc) 1995- 1.4 Zetec-SE 90 PS (66 kW; 89 hp)@5500

There you have it, stick an old escort engine in there lol. Ford in their infinite wisdom reduced the power output in the focus.
