Pay-pal is preety safe mate. you will be able to get your cash back but It will prob take a while because you will have to dispute it.
I am always carfull with ebay. I would of asked him to relist it for you. Ebay dnt charge you for first listing if it sells second time.
Good Luck

I was at eBay on Wednesday for buissness and asked them some pretty awkward questions, one of which being Paypal's buyer security, as basically, about 4 years ago I bought a BMX frame for Ł80 and I never received it. The bloke kept fobbing me off with excuses, my partners in hosital, I'm looking after the kids etc, I'll get it posted asap etc and in the meantime he closed his bank account. Paypal therefore couldn't recover the funds and although I won my dispute, I didn't recieve a single penny back.
They have assured me that they have reviewed the system and it's now alot safer etc, standard text book answers, but If I were you I would get a claim in ASAP and take no shit formt he seller. Especially as he's telling you it's already been posted and it seems it hasn't been!
