Ex Bt T-reg 120, ford transit van
Hi Guys, as you can see I a newbie not only to the forum but to the "transit van",
I am hoping you can offer me some advice and assistance?
I bought my transit van (second hand) in January this year and almost from the start I have had one problem after another,
Currently my problem is with the water pump, I think.
The water is pressurizing back into the expansion tank and the water is not circulating around the engine,
ford agents tell me that the water pump is held on with 5 studs,
which pulley is the water pump, is it the one on the left nearest the alternator?
or the one above the crankshaft?
As I stand in front of the van, looking onto the engine, the one on the left nearest the alternator has 9 or more studs.
I hope you can advise, as this is my only vehicle and I am totally dependent on it.

mate as you have found it the one in the centre of the engine, if you need anymore info for your transit try www.fordtransit.org
The dealers up here are very unhelpful unless of course you cross their palms with silver.Lol
