Bonnet wont open
hi guys my focus zetec got written off last week
and i am selling parts but the bonnet wont open iv sprayed the lock with wd40 and the key does nuthing so i hammered a screwdriver in and still nuithin if i drill it out will it open??

If the bonnet's F.U.C.T'd then get a grinder and cut through the latch? The other way is to get your hand behind the block and flick the catch manually, but if it's jammed you'll have no chance....

had to do this a few times at the scrappy..i normally put a screwdriver in the lock and whack fuck out of it with a hammer..then get the biggest flat head screwdriver and use as a you would the key..does take a bit of hammering but has always worked for me when ive tried it...sometimes tho the lock gets pushed back (towards engine) and the key doesnt reach fully into the lock
