Patience mate you've only had it 2 months and you say you knew it needed work. Once you've got it sorted you will think it was all worthwhile.

thats the thing when some people buy cheap cosworths; i dont mean this is you, but when you get a cheap cosworth, you are forever doing something to it and never drive the thing which takes alot of the pleasure away.

i was the same but i stuck to my guns, i bought my cossie for £1500 but i was extreamly lucky as it had been stood up for 11 years in a garage and only had 52k on the clock - the whole engine was in the boot and it took me near on 8 months to get it up & running to stage 3 spec

its worth it in the end, but you've got to remeber these cars are 20+ years old now

not happy with it the way it is...........you'll never be 100% happy with it even when it works.

But the good days make it worth while

Maybe so

I'm planning on getting the bumpers painted and if they come back mint I'll crack on with the underneath.

I thought you were gonna call up anyway? I looked for your car on the T&W stand and could'nt find your car, was gonna have a spy on your wheels,

Where did ya go?

Keep your chin up buddy and be patient , you'll find that things do take longer to finish on cossies but that's part of the fun . That of the fact that there upwards of 18 years old . All your worries and complaint's will dissapere when you plant your right foot and it comes on boost , I defiy you not to grin like an idiot everytime you drive it !
Cheers Ally

I have used mine almost day in day out for just over 2yrs,other than a turbo and service items when I first got it its been fine and never let me down. Its on a 200 block and had an engine and box rebuild before I got it.Its not big spec it only runs greens and a T3@ 22-24psi but being 2wd it is fun sadly I think my love affair for this one is dieing out .Test up next month, insurance and tax 2months after.I sold my bike to pool the funds for a 530d but the past two days Evo 6's are looking tempting
If I was loaded the Sapphire would be garaged and a resto done but at the min I just cant bring myself to sink any money into it even though I have been saying for 3 months I was going to advertise it for sale
