Hey Bill, good to see someone looking to tune a decent engine. These guys don't understand what it's like to have very little money to spend on your car. I have a 1.6 Escort, it's not the Sapphire but still. I have done a lot of work on the intake system and also uprated the fueling. I have found a way of doing this with out having to buy expensive parts. The other thing I am working on is a DIY engine management (ECU) program that you can tune your self from your computer you are reading this on right now. It involves a lot of work to the cars wiring and various other parts of the engine, far too much to write in a thread. I can talk you through this step by step over MSN if you have it? If you wanna chune your motor you wanna PM Speedy2010 on here.
He can get 300bhp more on the same spec as a motor that can only push out 600bhp

Couple that with the fact he built his uncles 850bhp YB and you have a VERY clever bloke
