The 1.8 130spec has under piston spray jets like the 2.0. The 105 spec does not have these.

best thing to do is new pistons/rods, rst mani with adaptor/new flage welded on, turbo (from frs or similar) then get it live mapped. Going to be a few thousand+ though...

but on a serious note, the 1600 is not worth the time or money
if your serious about it then either buy a mot failure 2.0 mondeo and swap the engine, ecu n loom over or easiest thing would be to sell it and buy an rs2000, different then a zetec but is a factory 2.0 escort all the same
that is if this is a real enquiry, we're all having a hard time believing someone would be serious about modding the shite 1600 zetec

well seeing as your not from the ghetto stop talking like a bell end then.bin the 1600 and drop in the 2 litre from a mondeo but you will need the ecu aswell but i dont think that you need the loom not 100% on this though

you want one of them electric air intake filters off ebay , a fluffer valve , one of them super chips off ebay ( one way diode ) pair of fiesta 1.25 zetec cams ( yamaha desighed race tuned ) cut the cat off 5 bhp , add a bottle of wynns engine flush and take for thrash . hope this helps
