Been looking for a new motor and was surprised how easy it is to locate someone just from a few pictures of the car and the area they live in.

Spotted a few today and looking at the surrounding house style, used satalite maps to find the style of property and then street map to find the house - easier on new builds and smaller city/towns but still

Pretty easy for scummers to find peoples pride and joys from forums etc

Also how easy it is to find out what a person is like and how they treat their cars, so many use their usernames on sites like pistonheads, then google it and see what forums they are on then see what they are posting and often hey presto you find that problem free cherrished car has been hammered and has had a host off issues and is suddenly up for sale

If it's easy to see on google then I'm sure plenty of people have passed by in their cars, so it isn't exactly a secret?

big brother is watching you. I had a look on google maps at my house and both mine and the wifes cars arnt on the drive lol. We must of been at work when they came round.
