Aside from having the same shite 1.8 Petrol that I have in my Avensis?? I'd rather dream about the V8, than have a fast looking slow ass car

Ummm, Lee. I call myself a Marine Engineer, because I'm a Marine Engineer.......

Dunno why you thought I was a journo?

I'm 3rd Engineer Officer of this

Anyways. Back to the fake Ferrari. Now imagine, you pull up outside a pub on a sunny saturday afternoon in your Bodykitted MR2. A bunch of kids start hero worshipping you becuase of your amazing car. Then you have to explain it's actually an MR2, like your haridresser has.........

I would rather drive something that looks shite, but goes well, than something that looks amazing, but is slow and ultimately gay

i have seen a few with 406 bases.

they are very convincing replicas. i prefer a car that looks slow but goes fast opposed to goes slow and looks fast lol

fair point.

i live in birmingham, so all i have is the dream, or a fast looking slow ass car

if it were real it wouldn't even make the driveway before being either bumped into or jacked at knifepoint

Yes looks ridiculous, even with original panels as Banham bought the tooli g for the bodywork.... Utterly pointless, the Rs automotive one was at least mid engined and YB compatable, and Rwd.... A fwd shitbox made to look lime a jacked up Rs200??? Why?!

Have to say I can appreciate all the work that went into the replicas as it's a real labour of love, but I agree with Rab in as much as my view is if I can't have the real thing, then I want a fake even less....
