Default cosworth oil pressure

got sierra 2wd cosworth, need to know what the oil pressure should be?

When cold mine is 60psi @ idle, hot 30-35psi @ idle

I use 10/40 oil

this will vary so much; plus it will depend on what oil, mileage the motor has covered, oil temp.

what is your oil pressure?

Same as Steve, hot mine is between 29-40psi with Magntec 10/40

ford say min at 850rpm 1.8bar and min at 2000rpm 2.4bar and thats with 20w 50 oil at 80 degres c so at that temp its with a 50 weight oil so may be a bit lower with a 40 weight oil!
