playing 1080p problem

Default playing 1080p problem

Right iv down loaded a film off the net onto my computer/laptop and i was hopping to play it on the tv the tv we have is full 1080p so thats ok the problem in having is my computer is struggling to play it . Im on vista and the computer is a compaq and it 12 months old do you thing its just a program i need to down load or this is just the computer is just not up to it . The sound 100% but the picture stops and stars all most frame by frame

video card i would have thought...

Could be anything, what processor is computer and what graphics card does it have?

Whats the Ram

it would tell you if there was a codec problem normally would it not?

The minimum requirements to play FullHD content on PC are pretty high, with a standard Codec.

Processor: 2.4Ghz (dual core) or 3.5Ghz (single Core) processor.

Graphics: Nvidia/ATi having bare minimum 256MB Video RAM and core clock 600Mhz.

if youre using standard codec get a better one. try different programs etc etc, im sure you will get it to play if youre specs are like above.

Mate, google and download ZOOM player. Then change the drop down setting box to give the media player highest priority for the CPU actions. Should help!!!

Failing that, go download the 720p version of the film
