Default Standard engine - performance mods?

Would I benefit by putting a pair of bd10's in my saff along with verniers?

And swap for a eeciv inlet with a spacer?

Or would it not be noticeable?

Current spec is t34.63 500 cooler, 55lbs and tube torque exhaust
and the engine is standard rebuilt 5k ago with Wrc head gasket

you will loose torque but gain top end power with most cam changes,

the gains from bd10s are very very small, but they kill torque so i would skip them.

bd14 inlet, std ex would work well if you have the clearance for the 14

pretty sure the bd 14 will fit in without valve cut outs.

i would not bother with the inlet on the power you will have either, just throwing money away Andy.

As said by James, from personal experience, BD10's are hideous things, don't bother. a standard engine works very very well on a T34, 55Lbs and a live map, to of my mates have had this conversion from MSD, and both pull like fucking trains. For the road, it is probably the ideal set up, and in the real world is probably quicker than most T4 cars.

Hi mate,
do have any more details on this..?
i guess that is 10 degrees more on the Inlet Cam @ BTDC and 10 less on the Exh Cam.?

what does this provide on standard cams, more tourqe and bhp or just move the power band up and down.??

also would it also be best to get the car remaped after doing this.?

thanks,
Manoj

its ment to improve the whole powerband so instead of being " nothing nothing nothing,,,, fuck me we off" it changes to a nicer responce throughout the rev range with a larger turbo
