Dont know your cars, but if its some bodykitted chavved up slow piece of crap then I would tend to agree with them, but if you have spent 10s of thousands on converting it to be a 4wd 400bhp stage prepared monster then I would say it was money well spent.

I think cars is a healthy hobby to have if you are doing the work yourself as at least you pick up skills doing it.

Im not closed minded, in fact im very open minded, one of my mates is K from type K styling, who no doubt you will have heard of if you are into all the chavved up over the top stuff as thats what he does for people, and I can see the work that goes into it etc, but I still personally would sooner spend my money on performance and handling instead rather than big chavvy bodykits and huge wheels that make the car LESS fun to drive round a track than it started out.

I work part time as a motoring journalist so am aware of dictionaries etc, but thanks for the heads up anyway.
