I will however be entering one i cant win & thats Vmax them Porsche boys are on a different planet, three of them over 222mph in 1.5 miles & im hopeing for 213/214 . Why compete against cars you know you can beat what point is that.
I realise i cant win whatever i decide, go to Scotland & win & im told on here that im scared to challenge the big boys, enter Vmax & get beat & my cars will be called a slow pile of shite , good job i dont take PF to seriously.
Theirs at least 90, 600+ cars on this Forum why not suggest they enter .

Rod would be good to see your car beat the supercars that were there last year, what sort of speed do you think you could get in that distance, also what sort of speed do you think a 500 bhp 996 could get?

1800metres & stop - Just over 200mph I guess. The Porsche would get past 175 i guess.
Problem is the youngsters on here dont realise that at 65 im simply not interested in travelling to Scotland to run my car i can do that on the M3 . I have a fast car because i can & not because i want to run at all these events its different when you are a lot younger, ive not the interest or indeed the energy to do it .

At my height im not above anything .
Im older than most of the Dads of the lads on here, wonder how many of them would travel 500miles to run their car at an event, also i would need to rest before travelling back & then the money gets silly & all for what, beating cars you know you will beat.
I was 30 once & would have entered everything going to prove how fast my car was, now i let the Clock tell me that & i need to prove nothing. Cossie records set nearly 6 years ago still aint been beaten or even threatened so why run again, leaving it in the garage dont make it slower. If a challenger appears before years end ive a new engine, 100+ more bhp to meet that threat & i will give it all ive got.
I want to take the car to some shows this year & let those that are interest see what its all about, its likely these will be mainly non Ford shows where the car is appreciated for what its done.

There are loads think they can beat it thats for sure. . Go where !!! im 65 in September & have promised the missus i would end this Topspeed nonsense. Will decide then what im going to do with the car, but ive made no plans to desert PF its far to much fun, winding up my dozen or so detractors who try to twist every thing i say guess which 2 tuners they are customers of . Love the tags below im 'scared' & a 'bullshitter' the two things im deffo not all good banter though..
