I have a vauxhall vivaro and when driving at very slow speeds (under 5mph) the power steering can get very very stiff and it feels like it hasnt got power steering. It dosent happen all the time and it has never done it at speed.
Do it just want new fluid in it?

if it doesn't have an auto belt tensioner then it could be loose and slipping at slow speed but not squeeling, i don't know the setup on these so just a suggestion and worth a look
