Speed Cameras from Space?
I've just been sent a link to an article in the Telegraph yesterday about satellites being used for speed cameras???

Testing the future
it's got nothing to do with a camera in space - the cameras are on the road to read the number plates and their position is known via gps so that they calculate average speed between 2 points. no different to the SPECS average speed cameras in roadworks now really, except that by using the gps data of every camera you can easily create a network.
