Default Renault Megane Problems

A friend is having problems with their Renault Megane, basically, the car cuts out at random times and will not restart for between 10-15mins... run for a while... then do the same again.

I know its vague, any ideas?

Cheers,
Grant

Sounds like a temp sensor maybe cutting in thinking it's overheating?

I had a problem on a 2004 1.5 dci sceinc. Cutting out saying injector fault and no power, Turned out to be the fuel line priming balloon collapsing when running

May be a crank sensor. I've been out to loads of renaults with the same sort of issues and 9 times out of 10 it's the crank sensor at fault.
