Looking for a VERY economical small diesel car and narrowed it down to a Yaris but cant find many.

So looking at Clios on around 2002 but heard they can be unreliable?

Anyone had this?

the 1.5 DCi is a lump of shite, economical enough, but the engine is unreliable and it sounds like a tractor.
