Well done indeed.

Ill have to dig up the posts of everyone on here saying Lewis will kill him and is such a better F1 driver than him.

I must say I am impressed with his performance so far.

I'd still say Hamilton would be quicker over a short burst, but Button seems to manage the tyres and strategy better over the race distance.

Nice result for McLaren though!

Hamilton drove a brilliant race and with another two laps would have passed button. Hamilton pitted 4 times to buttons 2 although a little help from safety cars. Hamilton was catching Button at a fast rate then his tyres went so he dropped off and once buttons tyres went off and they were in the same boat again hamilton out drove him again and was reeling him in but not enough laps. There both real strong and capable of 1 2 in the championship. I think when the weather doesnt come into it Hamilton will finish better. Button certainly has the better head for strategy.

I thought it was a great race and a well deserved win, really suprised Mclaren allowed Button and Hamilton to carry on racing to the end, big risk!!

Well done Button!!

All arguments aside for who is better, how good is it to have 2 Brits up around the top of the charts most races?

Another good race yesterday and you just never know quite what to expect!

Credit to Button, but his beating hamilton by strategic moves and not by out racing him.

The last couple of races Hamilton has overtaken more or less everyone in the field where as i can only remember Button overtaking a handful of people.

His beating him by coming in at the right time for pit stops, due to his superior knowledge and experience in the sport.

I still think Hamiton is the better racer and far more exciting to watch.

Time for me to finally admit Jenson can pedal an F1 car well after all.

But fook me, Lewis can hussle the arse off one, a joy to watch.

Great to see 2 Brits on the podium. I was starting to think it was the German version of F1. There fucking everywhere now, what's going on with that.
