Default ford focus engine management

i have a ford focus 2001, i have the engine managment light that comes on, i took it to the garage they reset the light changed the lambert sensor but still comes on. i want to just turn it off can i do this without spending money

Can you not go back to the garage and ask them to check it out again for you. Was the lamba sensor at fault? I'm guess thats why the light was up before.

i have been to and from the garage the car itself is not playing up i just want to turn it off somehow so it doesnt go on

Hi mate get someone who has a Bluefin and it can be turned off.
There are also cheap devices on Ebay that will do the job.

If the light comes on you still have a fault somewhere, that's what the light is for it's a WARNING something is wrong.

Its amazing some people wouldnt guess that !!

Simple fix for people like that....just remove the bulb. The car will never have a fault again

had mine on, got bluefin for fault reader and was o2 sensors changed them both and gotta remap with decat now so happy with my outcome.

As said the warning light is telling you there is a fault somewhere, you need to the cause of the problem sort this and then the light will extinguish.

Have you tried resetting the KAM?

Disconnect the negative lead off the battery for half an hour, that will reset the light and clear any fault codes. If the light comes back on, there is still an issue somewhere!
