Default whats a safe amount of boost?

i know this is a silly question just asking as i dont wanna ruin my engine.
its an xr2i converted to efi turbo, new rings and big ends with arp rod bolts,t3,beiges,cossie fuel pump, pace intercooler,195 ofab chip and -31 actuator.the gauge is showing about 12-13 psi at the moment.

any help would be grateful appreciated

Peak 17 Hold 15 i would have thought if has the cooler.

Its a bit of a silly question really you need to get it to a tuner for a setup. Its not the boost thats important.

Whos youre tuner?

my tuner hmm good question.not been to any as of yet as its pretty fresh out the blocks.i live in southend so been trying to find a reasonable tuner within reasonable distance that will check its all fuelling ok,few tweaks if any and still deals with ofab as ive heard alot of tuners dont like ofab anymore.

any suggestions for tuners would be a great help

Are you running the XR2i pistons or RST ones as the compression is different so if you're at stock compression you may be very limited indeed with the boost people are willing to put through the engine? Even if it's all good though I wouldn't want to run much more than 15psi or so through a Pace double capacity intercooler. I know at 17psi my ACT's were off the scale when we ran the car at SCA with one
