Silvertop Zetec head on Blacktop?
I have got a Focus 2 liter and I was woundering if it is possible to fit a 2 liter Zetec silvertop head onto a 2 liter Zetec blacktop engine?
As I understand the silvertops have hydraulic lifters and harder valveseats. Blacktops have solid lifters.
I want to run this 2 liter Zetec blacktop on LPG. But the mixture burning is a lot hotter on LPG than on petrol. The old silvertops could drive ages on LPG without any problems.
