He's got it up for sale already as he thought it would be a better car.

Hopefully the Rs500 will be better.

first bad review ive seen from someone who has drove one

Cool cars but for 350 odd break its still got no chance against an evo, scooby or an escort/sierra cosworth.

Ok some might say its not in the above cars league but trying to rep it with the orginal RS500 and it still can't shift due to sh..ty FWD then theres no point. The orginal RS500 was a legend so let it be and leave it that.....

Just my 2cents worth

Saying that if one came along at the right monies am not saying i'd not have one lol...

bare in mind the normal mk2 FRS is just about on par with a 300bhp scooby/evo i would say this one will just do fine...

Lets make this simple, the orginal RS500 was a evo of the orginal RS cosworth for the main part to win the touring car championship, yes the extra qudos did sell more cars, but this is new one is just a marketing exercise.

big differance

No one's disputing that. Even if it is a marketing exercise there's no reason why they can't call it an RS500. Both were limited edition tweaked RS models, and the new one takes nothing away from the old one.

iv owned a couple of sts and couldnt wait to go in an rs as i thought the rs would be so much better!!!i was so dissapointed i nearly cried!!!
The car looks better for sure and is firmer on the road(from std)but compared to my modded sts it felt slow and heavy,i cant wait to drive a modded rs though..
as said above much more value with an st but then if you can afford an rs why have the lesser...
i think your find that theres more than one reason why ford have a new 500 too!!!
Ever thought there may be a new race series happening???

cheers danny

i think most people are missing the point here with this car the standard focus rs mk2 is a great car and for Ł25K its a lot for a ford focus but at the same time worth it as it goes well and has the toys to go with it the new 500 rs is not great value for money if you look at the 2 cars together and work out the different points between them but the main point is limited number run, build number and these 2 together means that it will hold its money well (or i hope it will) and in years to come be worth good money still

say its Ł35k in november for the focus rs500 but you can have a full spec focus rs for say Ł29k thats Ł6k difference, now say you have had the car for 2 years and now want to sell what do you think the difference will be then ? as i can say that the focus rs will be under Ł20k the 500 one well that could be a total different ball game

I wonder how they will stand by the wrap as far as claims go, i know most wrap companies say they will last 3/5 years.
Does look nice but it comes with a price. Hope they hold value better than the normal RS as there seems to be lots of them forsale already.
