rollerbearing turbo is it knackered??
Ok so my new k&n filter had turned up over the weekend so removed the old pipercross filter and noticed straight away the blades look as though something has hit them? Now the gt30 has only done just over 2k miles and there is a small amount of play in the shaft is this normal??Will let the pics below do the talking
Damaged blades
Is it best to get the turbo rebuilt to be on the safe side??

Thats fucked im afraid mate, something has deffo passed through it we removed a similar looking t34 from a car a few weeks back. Deffo will need a rebuild and sooner rather than later, I wouldnt run it for long like that it could get worse as it will be out of balance.

Have you had a look inside the filter see if any bits look like thay have come off it doesnt have to be something hard to do that to the blades ive seen a bit of silicone vac pipe destroy a turbo alot worse than your pic
