Escort or 3dr
I'm thinking of selling my 3dr and getting a
escort cossie, how many people on here
have owned both and if so whats the best car to owned?
Only reason I'm asking is cos Ive heard people buy a escort
and they end up going back to the 3dr

I own a 3 Door and I have driven a Escort albeit not for very long, the escort just isn't as raw but it does feel smoother if you wanted an everyday car go with the escort if you want fun and be classed as a man
keep the 3 door.

Never driven an Escos but i imagine them to drive very well like my daily driver, unlike the 3dr with the knock, bangs and smells imo it's a drivers car

I had a 3Dr in 1993 and chopped it in for a brand new escort without driving one as they were on back order at the time and although it was nice to own a new car it didn't have the driver appeal that the 3Dr offered and so I soon went back to a 3Dr and don't think I will ever sell it!

i prefer the 4x4 drive train to the 2wd, cannot even put your foot down without it lighting up the tyres.

around 350bhp, even then the box can go at anytime.
when i had the Bara box in mine,i still had the standard rear and front diffs still in,never got around to fitting the uprated front diff.
i have never had a diff go in any of the escorts and they have been driven hard on and off track, may have just been lucky though.
still got my box and diff here jut incase.
