Not fantastic, but it's early days really as it's a new venture for the AA - they only bought the company out about 2 months ago!
I asked em for a job![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
Summer time can be great ![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
I secured it almost a month ago, it's just been time getting through all the paperwork and official stuff, plus the weeks induction course...
Cheers pal

Fuck patrols! I only got the "basic" induction to the AA and it's policies and proceedures, as most of them are in place for the mobile patrol and recovery people (RSS and RDT I think?) and there's SO MUCH those fuckers have to know!!!! Much MUCH more than regular joe on the street realises they have to do!
But I'm looking forward to it. Obviously I'm a bit nervous and intrepid cos although it's an industry I've been in for years, this set up is all a bit new to me : no branches or offices, which means no one to hold my hand through it for the first few weeks!
But the AA do look like a good company, and they are obviously very well established, and one of the few companies that managed to grow, substantially, through the recession, which looks like a good thing? It's also a big "family" to be in, with hopefully better, and brighter, future prospects

My dad worked for the AA in Management for the last 12 years, and they have been a very very good company to work for. He retired on ill heatlh and they went out of thier way to look after him with pay/pension etc, so good luck, sounds like you are onto a good thing

Nice one mate and good luck ![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
An old boy that does some driving for us worked for the AA for 40 odd years, he started in the 1940s on a norton! He's 87 now, been retired over 20 years and still goes to their annual dinner. He reckons they were a great employer but obviously his view is a bit out of date so mentioning it is pointless
