Default What Browser do you use?

So what browser do you use and prefer to surf the net on?

Due to software application testing purposes at work, i have had to use Google Chrome on my works laptop and must admit i was so impressed with it i thought id test and use it on ,my home pc and the results were brilliant!!!

Really pleased. So I thought i'd also safari and thats also quite good but doesnt refresh as quick as Chrome does.

Im going to install firefox next and see what thats like.

BUT what do you use currently? IE?

What do you prefer?

i prefered firefox because of all the add-ons but then with a rapid release of updates (one every other day) the addons started making it unstable and caused it to crash so i moved to chrome now im back at ff as you can use it as standerd without the add ons the way i want to.

I use firefox, never IE.

Cool thing about the new firefox is the persona thing, basically a theme you can apply to you browser.
The add ons are awesome too you can even view pages in IE tab within firefox and there are loads of shortcuts too.

Here are some for the ford lovers...

I use IE. Used firefox for a while, was unstable, wouldn't let me log in to some sites, some sites weren't compatible with it. Binned that shit off and back to IE!

My other half who works for a software development and infrastructure company uses IE at work, as all other browsers just aren't as good as it!

That is laughable mate xD
Firefox is clearly a better browser in every respect, however IE does have its place.
I use both at work, depending on what I'm doing.

Have to code for IE6 at work which is the worst fucking browser ever

Chrome is the quickest, then FF and Safari followed by shitty IE 8/7

The reason they use IE is because pretty much all websites are opitmised for IE, this is why it's used on most computers, also if all the websites where coded for gecko/firefox i'm sure it would excel too!

I use firefox, I'm a developer and find it brilliant.

IE really needs taken out and shot. Quite a few things seem to have little eccentrities that dont work too well in IE.

Bit contradictory? If Firefox is better in every way, why use IE at all? Unless you HAVE to?

the works pc's are all set to be wired for use with ie6

personally, ie8 on the computer is tempramental to load up at first so i use firefix as the primary

although there are certain things i find i can't do with firefox (although i could probably work out how to ask the questions) so i use ie for that stuff

not used any of the others yet

Firefox mostly but maxthon too

Good thing about maxthon is if you use 2 computers and have alot of favourites if you have maxthon on both computers you have the same favourites on both computers too
