Hey, i do suffer from hayfever quite bad too along with other allergies.
I've taken all types of pills with the differnt chemicals. My doctor always told me to find the right one.
I even tried putting this vaseline type substance around my nose from boots which claims to stop pollen entering the nasal passage.
In the end the best result i have found it using the nasal sprat beconase, you have to stick to the schedule twice a day for like the first week before it takes affect then once a day is fine.
Ever since i have been much better

Injection for hayfever?? Dont think its a common treatment. Was it Kenalog (triamcinalone) or Cortisone?
If the one-a-day antihistamines, have you tried taking chlorphenamine (Piriton) 3-4 times a day??There is also fexofenadine (Telfast) or desloratidine (Neoclarityn) which is available on prescription.
As already mentioned you can try a nasal spray. Beconase or Flixonase, but you need to keep up using it at least once a day to keep it working.

Never really suffered withanything up until a few years back but now just get streamin eyes in the summer. Been trying out Boots own allergy tablets and they are helping me. I used to know someone who had the injections for it as she had e

Beconase spray is the best nose whatsit, but I also take Cetirizine once a day (it is an antihistamine).
I buy my tablets from Chemistsdirect, much cheaper than Boots.

I used to have the injection. I think its a steriod based one (its only a last ditch if you've been munching pills for a few years to no avail), so after you have it for a few years they wont let you have it anymore because its meant to make your bones brittle or some shit. Which sucks because one injection and I could roll in grass all day with out so much as a sniff and the injection was good for 2 season's of summer! Unfortunately for me, it was the only bloody thing that worked!!
Puts a huge downer on the summer.
One things that does help a bit however, get yourself some locally made honey and eat lots of it. Gets your body used the the pollen thats in the air near you.
