Default how to encrypt a wireless router

people;

asking for a friend; he's found an old wireless router called "sitecom" which i have set up for him - but its unsecured

for the life of me i cant remember how to encrypt the wireless router to stop other people connecting to it

any pointers?

i had to reset mine today and change the name that everyone could see to "get your own net u cheap cunt" lol but i had the cd to set it all up and secure it so sorry im no real help buddy,

try goggle? i love goggle lol

yeah; this has no software/ set up disc with it

You dont need a disk. You need to find the routers address, it will be something like 192.168.0.1 and the user name and password are usually default to admin+admin.

Once your in, just look for security settings
