Default Builders help plese

Hi,

We are gettin gnew windows fitted next week as the ones that are in are them shitty single pain, metal frame rubbish, but where we had them there is a bit of mold around them, before the rooms get replastered what is the best way of getting rid of the mold and preventing it coming back again

thanks

The mold is probably due to the high level of condensation that builds up when the warm air meets the very cold single pane of glass. Your likely to find that when the new windows are fitted, along with trickle vents, that Mold isnt a problem! I think a mild bleach solution is good for mold, but im a builder not a cleaner lol!

theres a good chance that trickle vents will not be goin in the new windows. still as above the new windows should stop it happerning again.
