Default Having trouble finding this tyre size...

I need to replace all 4 tyres on the Evo and having a mare finding them at a decent price. No where seems to do em...

Size is 235/45/18. Not fussed on make, they just need to have a reputable name (Michelin/Pirelli/Toyo etc).

Also, how much difference in performance/driving/handling/bumpiness would it make having 235/40/18 tyres instead of 45 profile?? Was even tempted to try 225???

Any help appreciated

ta

I dont think any companys even make that size of tyre...
You would prob be better going for 235/40/18 or 225/40/18 or 225/45/18
www.camskill.co.uk has a fairly good selection of tyres.. nice and cheap too

yeah a fwe of make em Phil but they're just hard to get. Im wondering how much difference a 225/40 tyre will be. I like the look of alloys hanging out of the tyre but worried about handling etc.... dont want em rolling off!!

Chris

(Phil - still no money from that prick. Court action has proceeded already! ).

yea lower profile would be ok id say but the road noise i expect would be horiffic! a 40 profile on a 235 width tyre will be like running on rubber bands!

Michelin - 01782403323
Continental - 01895425900

Can never find tyres for cars here at me work, so usually just call one of the above and ask who has em in stock
