Default Any home burglar alarm fitters???

Any one here a home alarm fitter who can answer this for me??

Ive currently got a Gardtec 595 control panel as the base for my alarm system with all the sensors operating via a wireless communication module.

I am removing the system as its not needed anymore.

Obviously the sensors are easy. But is there a shut down/power down routine for the control panel itself??? or can i get away with just pulling the 240V supply an disconnecting the back up battery????

I assume i would loose all the settings which is not a problem. Will the code reset to a default??? I know what the code was when i moved in the house, and i know how to change it but will it reset to a factory default code when powered down or will it keep the one i set?? if it resets to default any one know what the default main and engineer codes would reset to???

and some are wired into the mains fusebox

i might be able to find out the default code for you to power it down unplug the battery then kill the 240v have you got a bell box this might have a battery back up unplug that aswell job done

it will show a line fail at an the arc unless you have an auto dialer

Should keep your settings but may lose them if left for a really long period of time. As said, kill the power and disconnect battery. The bellbox battery will need to be disconnected otherwise it will go off until the battery has died lol. The standard code will probably be 1234, but i've only installed the newer 800 series panels so don't know if yours will be the same. You could probably download a manual online, or failing that the technical line we use for gardtec products is very good, which is via a company called 'gardiner security'.
