Strange convoy on M1 up to M6...
I saw a really bizarre convoy on the M1 today as I left watford.
Behind me I suddenly saw loads of blue lights. A motorbike waived us over out of the fast lane, and behind him were 4 other bikes all spaced out evenly with each other . These were then followed by 2 black 08 plate BMW 735s and had 5 blokes in each of them, all in suits. These were then followed by 2 silver 09 plate mercedes benz people carriers with the windows blacked out, then behind them was a police range rover and behind that was a bike slowing down the traffic behind him, so it couldnt catch up or overtake the convoy
I managed to follow them all the way from Junc 11 of M1 to Junc 6 of M6 when they turned off. Bizarrely thought the police helicopter tracked their progress from Junc 4 of M6, so in some ways i got my own escort home and got back a lot quicker lol
Could it have been Royalty do you think???

Stuff like that really pisses me off. Why do Royals (or anyone else) get such privileged treatment?
If they are as well-loved as we keep being told, surely no-one would try to do them any harm for fear of being ravaged by a baying mob of outraged subjects!

Meh, could have been anyone. Hope they paid towards their treatment...
I'd have hoped the Royals would have supported a (part) British industry and got some Jags though

I didn't move cos he was driving like a cock, so I thought I would. At about 120mph he flashed bluelights at me from behind his grill and on his screen, so obviously I moved over, and he just booted it past me. Always wondered what that car was about, all blacked out and hardly a normal looking police car, plus didn't pull me and never had a knock on door, so guess he didn't report me either.

where was that??? This bmw had like 6 blue lights fitted on the front all in the grill and the headlamps and fog lamps, ive never seen as many as that on a unmarked car

M1 M6 could it have been the PM as he was all over the new to day in different places?
Do convoy like that with extra special people have a speed limit, even tho they are under blue lights?

it was the somalian president, he was going to some function in brum, lots and lots of officers were on double bubble to protect him as he is apparently hated by shite loads of people and is a high risk target!!

i go the police auctions at bca and see exactly what the old bill use and its suprising.
i have seen everything recently from x5's to merc saloons undercover.
i have seen a merc with just one blue flashing light on the roof which was a roll the window down and chuck it on type go past me with blacked out windows.
i know the yard manager and he's told me what stuff the cars have been up too and its stuff like royal protection,diplomatic protection. royalty cars and shit like that.

I think it might be somebody very high risk going from court to there place of remand. Enspecially as the helicopter picked them up as they left the motorway and hit roads where an interception may be more likely to happen.
