Thanks mate, that is what I am thinking to have it on the passenger as low as possible, I have the standard fuell tank, battery behind passenger side seat and put the extinguisher over that side somewhere to as I'm also a fat bastard lol

On the passenger side in the footwell or behind the seat. Have you done your plumbing for the nozzles? My old car had them aiming at the fuel tank, passenger lap, fuel rail, engine bay.

Put it where you like !
BUT only on a surface where you can nut and bolt it , not like the one pictured above where i suspect either pop rivets or a thread set have been used .Apologies if im wrong but i dont think you can get into that chassis section there easily .
these become lethal weapons that in the worst possible circumstance i.e a big crash ,break free and bounce about in your car ,fancy that ?

I got sick to death of the cables seizing or you come to scrutineering and the fookers dont work, or they stick and fray - just not worth that hassle, all great when brand new, but after a few month and a bit of weather theyre a pain in the ass!

agree with the nuts and bolts, and make sure its within the cage, ours in the 205 is on the rear bench in the centre but there are always 2 people in the car so weight distribution doesnt come into it.

My old XR2 was bad for the pull catches on the outside seizing up all the time.

Also the bloody scrutineers when the pulled the catch for the master switch always shoved it back in which wears away the metal cable and generally isn't good for it.
