Yes mate the controls abit bent BUT i'm in with them not out lol, we have around 45 Hackneys and 15 private hire on my company so not massive. Nites is best but with a young family it just dont work....

haha yeah my boss dont come in on weekends!! so pretty much do what ya want lol not that we dont anyway!! I could ve lazy and get the guy who washes our vehicles to do it but i wanna do it myself! lol

Yeh mine was escorted too, but none of the escorts ever knew sign language so was always good signing to the kids while driving lol

we have over 100 vehicles, from mercs/c300-cars-mpv's-8 seater mini buses-16seaters-33/46/49/67 seater coaches! lol so quite a lot that we do here! mixed private hire, hackney and blue disc operators licences!

It's really quiet today..

The bloke who washes are services cars always offers to do mine here but i dont like the acid and truck wash shit he uses & the one & only time he did it he had the stereo properly pumping and ragged the car round the block and got me in the shit for anti-social behavior! In the congo and "work" everyday. Weekends are great. V slack and easy going. I had one meeting at 09 00 with the customer. It's lunch v soon so off for pizza. Return to "work" leave by half 3 to get home and watch live premiership footie.

I once washed mine at work, was told to use the stuff in the orange bottle as it was rather filthy...so i did...washed it and as i rinsed it off..... the water left the car and revealed it PINK!!!!!! it was a really strong solution of tar and film remover!!!!! took me hours to get it back red again!! so i'd rather do it myself from now on!! lol

I should take a pic of mine when ive done it altho it wont be polished

Im here from 07.00 to 18.30 both days this is my 13th day on so far and i dont think i'll be off till my hol's on the 19th of this month .

And to make things worse i dont do a bloody thing , im sat here in an office on my own all day every day as a project supervisor , babysitting some contractors that are in .

What a boring life it must be for some office workers , im used to being out on site's with everybody else as i do industrial pipefitting , mechy fitting and general jack of all normally .

What system do you use in your office Caz?
Ive been semi offered a deal to get back into taxi'ing on the management/ownership side, When I was doing it it was paper and pen, this company is 95% automated, amazing just how much that system can do.

The system we use is called "taxi" lol well "live future taxi" is what it says on the tab

its very good tbh, make the job a lot simpler than manually writing it all down had to do that when we had the electricians in...what a nightmare that was!! lol

This lot use Mercury, running 95 cars and possibly buying a company thats got 70+ on, all integrated with the phone so as soon as you answer the phone your screen comes live to start inputting. You can get a run down of how long it takes to answer calls, how efficient the operatives are, accounts for all cars etc, pretty funky and mind boggling.

we are running over 100 vehicles in total between exec cars/mpvs/transit minibuses/wheelchair buses/16/33/46/49/67 seaters lol

we just use key shortcuts on this to do what we want, its all very simple! every driver is logged on the same system all details its a very good programme in my opinion! the phones aren't linked to it tho altho i suppose it probably could be.. but we have 7 lines so ...i dont know i dont deal with that side of things

I presume they can shortcut this, I only had a look at it the other day and got baffled by it
The drivers are all run through the system, each driver having their own log in etc so you know who was working when, even on double drives.

Im bruised in places but got out of it very lightly. Could of easily been so much worse.

As for the car, its dead. Only a Saxo though, no huge deal.

saxo's definately do not hold up well in accidents!

I was in this saxo on the 1st of may 2003!
Driving back into Chelmsford heading towards the army and navy and about to go over the flyover! As we reached the bottom I looked up (from the back) to see 2 people walking over it! Music was pretty loud so I had to shout at vicky (the driver) who didnt hear me, so I shouted again...a bit louder! She then noticed....slammed on her brakes which inturn locked up facing the concrete blocks at the entrance to the flyover which we inturn hit! We went up the concrete hit the pillar and rolled the car 3 times up the flyover and slid back down on the roof!!
Me and Chris were in the back both wearing seat belts...Vicky and Wayne were in the front ... not wearing seat belts....
At the the beginning...Chris was asleep until we skid....opening his eyes to concrete! I remember rolling but then thats it! I came round to Vicky shouting thru the rear quarter window at me to get out! Im hanging upside down on my seat belt!! Funny thing was my first thought was "Im in a 2 door car how the fcuk do I get out" ....not the fact Im upside down!!
I then kinda came round a bit more...tried to find the seat belt release and went head first to the floor (roof) I then crawled out of the rear quarter window...

I suffered a lil whiplash, and quite a bit of glass in my hair! Vicky the driver had a grazed elbow...where her window was open! Wayne(front passenger) took the brunt of the collison..he had a crack in a bone in his chest (and no not a rib!) lol Chris had a headache...as he was asleep he was limp! so was ok!

We were all very lucky to walk away! The police told us if we had hit 2cm to the left...none of us would be here! SO yes...VERY lucky!!!
