hi ive just bought a mk 2 escort rs got the vin plate on but no reg so how do i find out the reg?? please help

Have you got the V5 (logbook) reg should be on there.

you can do a hpi check useing the vin number only that will be the best way

mk2 rs 2000

my vin plate has the chassis number on it and it also says
ford escort rs mexico built by cvs 1996
has anyone ever heard of these???

Is that the right vin plate hmmmmm i think not
Is it not the mk6 escort mexico vin plate you have .
Something sounds funny to me .
Did he not have anything else like old mot or tax disc ?
