on a serious note.. I'm loving those ploprof's..... rubber strap though as the bracelets look PROPER rainbird!

I do like the 'vintage' metal strap though?
I'd rather get something like the Rolex submariner if I were you though...or even the milgaus. On the whole more 'timeless' (no pun intended) if you ask me.

Fair enough! I've several watches and although some I really like, I know I won't be wearing them anymore in a few years time. It's like the Bell and Ross BR01 Airborne: was gonna get it because I liked the idea but in all honesty I probably wouldn't wear it! Did see the diamond encrusted version wich the missus really liked but it was around the 75.000 mark wich I thought was a little ott...

Rolex's are the bollocks btw! So are all DECENT watches, this is part of my collection that doesn't make it into the safe 
(apart from Lee's) which I assure him he will be getting soon. I have had issues with customs and not being in Dubai for 6 months!

Was only going to get one, but when Lee's arrived it gave me the horn so I got myself a white one. Not massive discounts tho..

Probably a bit late on the reply but I was looking for the same, 3 0 for a Breitling last year. I looked in Singapore, Paris and London. Singapore was the best deal by far and not only was I able to haggle slightly but claimed all the tax back when I left too. On a Breitling, it was a nice saving. Can give you the shop I went to in Singapore if not too late.
Next watch for me will be the Rolex Daytona in black. Have the feature from the paper here and having sold the house, hopefully it is close with the USD at the moment

Ive got the limited edition pikey version, £80 from a back street in Dubai 
keeps great time, all the chrono functions work -had them side by side and even fooled some of the "experts", only difference we could see was some of the chrono faces have been swapped around the dial.
If I scratch it, break it lose it then I will just get another, then another then another
I am far to tight to spend big money on a watch but love its looks.
