Spotlight Question
I have a quick question. In the hallway i want to replace existing ceiling rose with spot lights
Question is because there is wood above the celing rose, which isnt structual just there so screw the rose to, can i drill the hole for the spot light through the plaster board and the wood and fit the spotlight or would the wood get too hot from the light and go on fire?
Would i be best trying to remove the wood? Which i dunno if the plaster board is screwed to or not so could make a mess of the ceiling
Below is a quick sketch of what i mean. Pink being plaster board.
Any help would be great
Thanks
