My cars done it, but I aint, 198.5 is annoyingly close so 200 is my aim in the near future, when the latest mods are complete.
I expect Martin to be next Cossie to challenge 200 or Ranj if he gets his ass into gear

i don't think i will be the next to attempt it.... besides i would like to see someone beat my time without the aid of gas...... then i might be interested!
for all those that think gas makes not much difference.. consider this, in 1993 i ran my yellow escort at Avon park (drag strip) with a low tech T4 equipped engine.... without gas it ran a terminal of 118mph, next run... switch on a 50hp shot of gas and hey presto 138mph terminal!!!!

Fook me never thought laughing gas made that much difference 
Is limited to what you can do with it though, you can only carry so much and you must get to the point where the weight of the bottles out weighs the preformance gain?

I still think you should try,the way things are going now some one in another country will break the record (without nos that is) and i think the record should be kept here,if i had the money i would have ago.

Heres a different angle.
Ran 183.3 in my old Saff in the days before Nitrous around 480bhp on the day.
At the Cossie qualifiers a year later with 75 shot of Nitrous the fastest time achieved was 181.8. Those are facts & recorded in PF.
.I used a 130 shot on the 200 run & R-R tests have shown about 90% gets through on my Cossie if all is set up correct, so about 115 extra horses .
Could we beat Martins time off Nitrous, ive no idea , its the overall record we went for.
My new aims are 205mph by Mark, 200mph for me, 0-60 in the 3's ,0-100 in the 6's ( have a 6.8 on the Stack) , 0-150 in the 12's & 10s Quarter.
If these are achieved in the next month or so , I will retire gracefully, sell the car & buy a decent Rocking chair, Contented in the extreme.

Total respect goes out to you for that, and you know that rod's car will not beat yours with out gas.
So 150shot - thats about 250-300bhp on top of the 600 and its 7-10 mph faster.

I see that things are different when its a Reyland & not a MAD car.
. i know you're not going to like it but until 194.7 is passed in a cosworth (at brunters) without nos i wont feel beaten. once you have done that i will send my crown via courier!
