Blimey, what a forum to walk into. Here's my angle : Rod and MAdevelpoments have the top speed crown. FACT. It doesn't matter how they went about achieving it, It happened. All this talk of using Nos is bollox, cos in my eye's, especially when looking at acceleration, Nos makes up for having a stripped out interior. I'm sure Rod is happy to take 5 passengers out in his car at nearly 200????

most my bits have been sourced from abroad, we had 2 piston manufactuerers pis me about, waiting for a gearkit which eventually got, i kept changing spec, then waiting for inlet. kees going on and on

ps. Is Race Fuel any different to Nitrous. Mine used Pump Fuel .
If I used Race Fuel in mine would have over 650bhp off Nitrous so yes I could probably beat you Off Nitrous time, but thats going backwards not forwards. I want 205 not 195 thats last years game now.

I have full respect for ROD and MAD for the acheivment it is fooking awesome work. But, i agree with the issues of Martin saying he hasnt been beat yet without gas. I think the record should have bean beaten without gas first, then add gas to what the car can do then.
Its like with the rst records. Great....sunnys fez goes fast, but i have more respect for the likes of christian who has retained the original type engine and gone a little slower...imo that is the true record.
