Help. . . bad night
Not gonna go into to much detail for now. ( seems someone has a grudge against a family member of where I work at ) But half way through last nights shift, got radio'ed through to go back to base. . .
I couldnt believe my eyes when I got back. . .
About 6-7 cars back at base have been vandilsed. . . 1 being the misses's A3
WHY ME???
Its got yellow paint over every panel, O/S has Police written down in yellow paint
N/S has this persons name
Boot lid has Sl*g
Roof and bonnet have Nazi symbols
Windscreen caved in
A pic of the A3 pre damaged. . .

Pics of vandal damage will be taken and posted tommorrow. . . For insurance reasons and for peoples advice
If its gotta be painted then so be it, will need the full car respraying, but the paint seems to peel off with your finger nail. . . ( might be something to do with the hundreds of layers of blackfire all finish paint protection on it )
What can I try on a panel to remove the paint without damaging the cars paint. . .
panel wipe, clay bar???
Followed by machine polishing???
Please reply with any info on the paint removal. . .
So gutted atm, normally go work on my push bike. . . I did have the Orion out to go work in but the misses finished work early and as the Orion had been cleaned up saturday day, thought I'd take the dirty A3 to work and clean it up today ( sun )
Proper proper gutted atm
The Police were to bust last night, so will be coming out Monday . . . f*cking great!!!

whos she upset???
If its got her name down side then its clearly personal.
Were other cars similarly doubed with personalised insults???
If so probably grudge by ex employee and easy to trace/kick shit out of
If its an ex of hers, also easy to trace and kick shit out of.

That'll come in time, for now gotta get the car back to its former glory
Anyone help???
Only repaired a car similarly damaged like this about 2 weeks ago.
Depending on the paint that was thrown over it you might have an easy fix on your hands.
If its (water based) emulsion ,,,,,,fairly hot water, (not boiled) a little elbow grease and a machine compound and glaze should as good as sort it.
If its gloss paint then its a different story.
Best option would be to try some standard base coat thinners. Make sure you have a good look at each panel to see if they are originally painted before you start wiping it on. You don't want to be putting it on aftermarket paintwork. Good chance the thinner would damage or stain that.
It is a slow process and it can be soul destroying work but if it can polish off and keep your original paintwork then its worth it

The culprits seem to know it was her car ?? Lets hope shes been a good girl and not played away and head fooked someone. Seems like the irrashional type of behaviour for a personal attack.
Hope it all gets sorted and was a one of.

i would be taking it up wit the boss/daughter as well mate rather then claim on your insurance i hate pricks that fuck about wit peoples cars look into wether you can claim on their house insurance being as it was clearly an attack on them and you were only caught up in the cross fire you never know might get lucky
you don't really want the insurance to sort it if you can get away with just washing it off
but if it is an insurance job, at least you've got 5o on the case
as said before, i'd try a small inconspicuous area to get the paint off first, and see what happens with that
elbow grease might be hassle but it won't cost you your excess
don't forget you've got several other peole in ovled in this so the police will at least be trying to solve it

Gutted. A mate had it done to his brand new fiesta a while back. A local bodyshop buffed it off though so it all came out good, hopefully yours will be easy to sort.
On a positive note, what a stunning set of wheels, what are they?
Rich.

Why should it? Read it again and you will see it says its his girlfriend's car, parked at his work, and his boss's daughters name has been written down the side, as long as his house and a few other cars vandalised.....
Jesus what a stupid thing to say when you haven't even read what happened!

Mate i replied on the orion register, AS tardis might do something to it, but its not meant to remove that much contamination, just tar spots flicked up off the road. worth a shot though.
Dont know if it will work with paint, but my missus drove through wet tar once and I used petrol to get it off then washed, polished and waxed.
Good Luck eitherway as alot of elbow grease looks the order of the day.

what a shit way to attack someone else
Sorry to see you got caught up in something thats nothing to do with you, try a clay bar to get the paint off, you might be able to shift it without needing the car sprayed. If it does need paintwork i wouldnt be going through my insurance, i would expecting my boss to pay it through his insurance as it happened on his premises and its a problem with his daughter.

The missus' mums car got done over with paint by someone, so i got hold of some alcy wipes that we use at work (Halfrauds
) when mixing paint.
Came up a treat, rubbed the paint of then washed away any residue from the wipes away with some soapy water straight after. Couldn't tell it had been painted.
If you pop into to your local halfords i'm sure they'd let you use some if you wanted to give it a go!

A couple of hours with panel wipe has got the bulk of the paint off  And so far there appears to be no paint damage underneath the yellow
I've taken loads more pics but on work for 6pm so calling it a day for now, gonna book a day off tommorrow to correct the paint work and get on the phone for a new screen. . .

So after abit more panel wiping, some 3m light compound and some auto glym super resin, the rear 1/4 panel now looks like this. . .

So after I get it to this stage all over tommorrow, can start to get some blackfire products back on it and really get it back up to scratch. . .
Its been a time consuming job, and aint really had much sleep. . . But by tommorrow evening it'll look mint again. . .
I'm the best persom for the job when it comes to cleaning and like a challange. . .
Gonna take the lights out etc and get into all the nooks and crannies to remove all trace of the yellow paint
