Mounts are good, but its in bits at the moment, it wasn't like that when i took it apart.
I have had track rod end and the bottom arm off it, and been pulling it about sorting the brakes, so its that thats done it i'd imagine, i'll wait untill i get my new springs and then sort it, i hope!

Good call paul16V

Make sure the bearings on each leg don't slide off or you'll never get the feckers back together!

I think this part is actually used on a mini metro or similar shopping trolley!

you can see that he's taking the inner tca bolt out which explains why it's fallen out

enigne mounts would stop it happening on the road when you launch from full lock in some cases

if the tripod bearing falls off, you are fucked as you'll need to find a complete useable shaft from somewhere to get a replacement

i cant see that anything has fallen off! fingers crossed it stays in one bit untill i get the struts ready to go back on!
Do they literally just push in, should there be a "click" or anything?

it will simply push bcack in again

it's going to need the outer part of the cv to come off though to change the gaitoer, easiest way, just a simpl circlip to pop out, much easier than removing the tripod joint at the other end and potentially running into problems
