Hi all can some help me, yesterday I started preping my intercooler for painting back, rubbed it all down for priming, used "U-pol acid etch primer" and I painted this morning, when back in side and now all the black paint has run of it, the paint I use was a rattel can of halfords gloss black, I'm guessing they react together, so what paint to use, want a gloss black finish, and can only use rattel can at home.

I sprayed my pro alloy intercooler 2 wks ago
i rubbed the cooler down first with 400 grit mine was really scratched tho then warmed the cooler with heat gun,then sprayed normall gray primer then used 1200 wet&dry on the primer. heated it back up and gave it 3 coats in satin black.

Mine came out really good considering i was in a freezing cold shed lol

 

Ah I wonder it's down to the cold as I didn't heat it up

 

Prob mate get some heat on it mate.

 

Now got my self a heater and hot air gun in the garage
