Does anyone know if you get points on your license if you get stuck in a yellow box and they get you on cctv or is it just a fine? i was just wondering.

you could probably get done for driving without due care and attention, like running a red light etc.

its just a fine mate..some yellow boxes dont even have a camera so u might b luckyy and get off scott free

unfortunatly it was in the middle of london and it was a massive junction, my front wheels where just out of the box but i know there are cameras there watching. im really not fussed about a fine but il be pissed off if i get points because i think it happened twice

ah one of them ones! driving in central is always a pain in the backside..just be careful in the sense that if u have to wait at a red light insted of taking it, it might make u 5mins late bt at least u wont get a fine! u wont get any points im sure just a fine!

cheers mate cus it happend twice lol! im so pissed off i managed to do a right turn at a no right turn junction aswell so i dont know if thats point aswell! ive maganed to drive 50,000 miles a year for 8 years with no fines as soon as i drive in london for the first time i cud maybe get 3 different fines! doh!!!!

You can stop in the boxes if your turning right, doesnt sound like you were but happy days if you were. Hate driving through london, although in the van been higher up makes it that bit more bearable. You did pay the congestion tax didnt you? Really does piss you off getting one of them fines through the post

yeah made sure i payed that, whats even worse is im down there doing surveys on the equipment on the road so im also having to park on double yellow lines and stuff which is horrific!!
