changing from t3 to t34. need new chip??

ill be fitting a t34 to my 4x4 saph and wondering if ill need a new chip?
i know the car will need a set up just dont know about the chip,

one more thing, if i buy a chip for t34 and greens which are fitted now and want to upgrade to siemens 55 would i again have buy another chip? or can they be re written?

would need a new one as they are so different..
803s t34 L8 non closed loop is Ł150 add Ł100 if you want closed loop
55s t34 is Ł250, again add Ł100 for closed loop,
both come with full instructions
4x 55s are Ł250
dont forget you can sell on your old greens and chip for reasonable money on ebay

.63 housing, would i need a new pump if i fitted greys also? i no the 55s are prob much better but my mate is removing some greys and wouldnt cost me anything

thanks for all help, dont know about greys yet as duno how long transmission would last if it was making around 380 bhp but would be nice

In my experience, a new chip would depend what its running now!!
I went from a standard car straight to stage2 but with RS500 cooler, so the chip done stage3 when i fitted the T34.
If i only went stage1, i "would" have needed a new chip for stage2/3.
NOT 100% IF ALL TUNERS ARE THE SAME THO..
As for the boost hose, agree with the above. 48, 55 or 63 housing should be able to re-use the hose. Sure 48 housing is same as T3, but should be able to get it round a 63.
If not, Roose do single hoses for Ł40ish.
