Dump valve question
I have a single piston dump valve on my 4x4 cosworth, on idle can here the air from it, i know on a twin piston you cant. Will this single piston type make any difference to the air/fuel mixture?
Which type is better for cossie single or twin??
John.

i had a diafram 1 on mine and i lost 10psi of boost about a week ago acording to me gauge, the car felt no slower so i thought me gauge was funked. i replaced me dumpvalve with a twin piston and got me 10psi back. Personally i dont like them but feel i need 1 running 22psi on a t3, when i get me t34 on its going in the bin

I hear that Dumpvalves are superb for high BHP engines. if u have a chatter goin and not dumpvalve, it can damage the turbo

IMO the best Dump Valve is the one in the bottom of the Dustbin.
