Found a nice 3 Door Recaro on ebay it was only at a tenner with 2 days to go in Birmingham asked him if he had a buy it now price he say no and would let the auction run. So I put a bid in at just over £80 and let it run I come home to find i've won it for £26 BARGAIN!
I also have a message saying he didn't get what he wanted for it and has sold them to someone else!!!

I know it dont help m8 but should have checked his feedback first as 87.5% aint good still no excuse i know but i never buy of anyone unless they have been selling a while and have high 90's feedback.

Just write it off mate, if you try to get ebay to help you will just get frustrated. Ebay don't give a shit. I've tried a cople of times with genuine complaints that their policies state are against ebay rules. All you get are generic replies from halfwits or people in a far off land as they've outsourced the customer services tasks. The small bit of the reply they actually write themselves is primary school level.
Find some other way to vent your anger against the tosser...

Justed e-mailed him saying I would be taking legal action and this is the responce I got:

In fairness to Sonic Boom, the sellers feedback rating would have been a lot higher when he placed his bid but it has since come down to 87.5% because SB has quite rightly left neg feedback. To be honest i don't think Ebay will do anything about it but i would still lodge a complaint with them. Ebay does seem to be more in favour of looking after buyers than sellers so they might at least suspend him until the issue is resolved.

If he wanted to get a reasonable amount for it he should have set a reserve not start moaning cos it's gone too cheap. I would send Ebay a copy of his email to you and tell them you would also like to report him for his subsequent abuse. Lay it on as thick as you can and tell them you were very offended.
In the future you can always report his future listings for the most minor things even down to use of words in his title and Ebay will remove the listing. For example, a few months back i was selling some plug in electrical sockets and in my title i stated "not extension leads", Ebay removed my listing because they said anybody searching for extension leads would get my listing which is not what they are after. Similarly, anyone selling an XR3i and also states "not RS Turbo, XR2" could risk having there listing removed because everyone looking for RS Turbos or XR2s would find his listing thus slowing down their searching and bringing up a car in the results that they don't actually want.

I was looking at pistonheads today with a friend and we came across a 3dr recaro for sale.
I went with said mate and he bought it for £60 a few hours ago and it appears it was the same peron as on ebay!

Did seem a nice chap to deal with though.

Cant blame you for being pissed off though,even when ive sold something and its sold for peanuts i still go through with the sale!
