many thanks for all the replys it was parked in Clevedon Cres and i had no choice but to park it on the street as i said id only been there a week and was waiting for my flat to be ready to move into.

I am glad you still have it. My brother's was stolen from Kent, stripped and burnt out within a week, I think location is irrelevant, these things have a monetary value and theiving scum only recognise a quick buck, no matter where the fuc**rs are.
I agree that the MOT thing sounds a bit too much of a coincidence. I hope you get your security sorted.
