I am asking this question on behalf of a good friend of mine. He currently owns a very solid mk4 escort van that he wants to do something different with.
He has got a very low mileage 2.0 zetec from a mondeo now the question is will it mount straight in and will it line up to the mk4 xr3i box that is currently sat in it at the moment.

Any comments greatly appreciated or alternatively can anyone suggest a different engine conversion that is fairly straight forward.

you need to use some 1.8 parts on the 2.0,like sumps and pick up pipes, also mk3 fiesta alt bracket and alternator

gearboxes will fit on but you need to run a cvh efi flywheel or a 105bhp 1.8 flywheel as the 2.0 is too big and wont fit in the gearbox
